have a baby = give birth to or be due to give birth to
She has a lovely doughter.
She’s going to have a baby.
have something in common = to share the same interests or have similar characteristics
I didn’t think Patrick and Marta had anything in common, but they talked all evening.
have fun = enjoy yourself
– Are you going out tonight?
– Yes…
– Have fun 🙂
have lunch/dinner = eat lunch/dinner
We usually have lunch at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
have a headache = suffer from a headache
I’ve got a terrible headache today.
have an argument = have a disagreement
The children had an argument about/over what game to play.
have an interview = have a meeting in which someone asks you questions to see if you are suitable for a job or course
I had an interview for a job with a publisher.
have a party = have a social event at which a group of people meet to talk, eat, drink, dance, etc., often in order to celebrate a special occasion:
a birthday party
a farewell party
a dinner party (= a small, sometimes formal party where a meal is eaten)
John had a surprise birthday party last Saturday.
